Addressing the press conference on Friday, Mr. Yogi Prabhakarji, of Sourya Peetham condemned the release of the movie Denikaina Ready which has unfortunately stooped to the base level of humiliating Brahmin community in a poor light. In addition to that, the artist involved in it Mr. Vishnu, son of Mohan babu, and his security physically attacked on some of the brahmins who staged protest at his home recently. He futher added Brahmins, being one of the most dignified communities in India, would have probably forgiven them, if they had apologized for the mistake and deleted the derogatory scenes. The makers of this movie have resorted to cheap, vulgar, derogatory scenes and remarks on Brahmins, thinking they are weak and helpless. This is certainly not comedy as they want to show it. On the contrary it is highly tragic that educated, well known citizens of this country are behaving like brutes who are trying to earn money by defaming members of such a key community in India. Mr. Madhava Sharma, founder of the Saptarshi Charitable Trust, Mr. Medicherla Murthy, and others also spoke on the occasion.
