Mr. P.K.Bishnoi, CMD of RINL inaugurated equipment erection of secondary metallurgy facilities i.e. LF & RH package in Steel Melt shop-2 of 6.3 MTPA expansion project on 29th May, 2009.
Equipment Erection of secondary metallurgy facilities.

Design, engineering, supply, erection and commissioning of this package has been ordered on consortium of M/s SMS India Private Limited, Gurgaon and M/s SMS SEIMAG, Germany.

Ms. Pammi Somal

Pammi Somal in Vizag: Former editor of 'Cine Blitz' and Bollywood producer/director of 'Mummyji' fame is in Vizag along with senior members of her crew scouting for locations for her forthcoming film. Speaking to VizagCityOnline.com, Pammi said that she was impressed with the scenic beauty of Vizag and that at least a few scenes (most probably song & dance routines) would be shot here within the next few months.

Seychelles Coast Guard Patrol Ship Seychelles Coast Guard Patrol Ship

Seychelles Coast Guard Patrol Ship Topaz that has been with the Naval Dockyard (Visakhapatnam) since 21 Sep 08 for a maintenance refit has completed the repairs on schedule. His Excellency, Mr. Dick Patrick Esparon, High Commissioner of the Republic of Seychelles to India arrived Visakhapatnam on Thursday, 30 Apr 09, to interact with the Ships crew prior departure ot Seychelles.

The Fast Attack Craft that was originally INS Tarmugli of the Indian Navy, has had all its machineries and equipment overhauled. The Ships crew were also trained on various systems and tested for proficiency by the Local Workup Team. INS Karwar of the Local Flotilla had played host to the ships company in the course of their stay at Visakhapatnam. The ship now returns to Seychelles under the escort of the Indian Navy.
