Dr. Raj Reddy of
Carnegie Mellon University, USA who was here to have an interactive
session with the students of Computer Science at Andhra University on
the 28th of December spoke on the various opportunities available for
the young people of Andhra Pradesh in the IT sector. Dr Reddy called
upon the faculty to promote digital literacy by providing laptops etc.,
to students. Those not having any accessibility to computer do not
attain any capability or capacity-building at all, he added.
Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University, Prof. Y. Venugopala Reddy
presided over the meeting.
