KUNG FU & KARATE |
Born on 31st December, 1973, Srinivas was 16, when the martial art that was later to become his whole life, first fascinated him. He decided then that he would take up training in Kung Fu and rise to the top, come what may. When he expressed his desire to train in this martial art, his parents far from showing an interest in the sport, vehemently opposed it and his mother forbade him to have any association with it. For Srinivas it seemed that the battle had been lost even before it was started. But then something inside told him that he should stand firm in his original decision and that was where his destiny lay. His determination and passion soon brought him the success he desired as he got his first 2 belts the very next year. That same year he went for his first tournament which was conducted by the Open State Kick-Boxing Association in Hyderabad and secured the 1st place in that tournament thus beginning his career with a victory that was only to be the first of many many more. |
