Sunrisers Hyderabad played practice matches under floodlights at the ACA-VDCA stadium here on Tuesday and Wednesday before their first match in the IPL 2015 with Chennai Super Kings in Chennai on Saturday.
Captain David Warner and Shikar Dhawan were not here but the rest of the players like Boult, Ishant Sharma, and Praveen Kumar along with local stars of the team K.S. Bharat and Ricky Bhui played the matches while being watched by chief coach Tim Moody and bowling and batting coaches M. Muralitharan and VVS Laxman. The players did not go all out but limbered up well, some of those few who watched the games said. Few spectators turned up to see the players in the matches.
The team is leaving here on Thursday, according to sources.
