Bringing laurels to Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, four employees of RINL-VSP unit successfully participated in the 38th Masters National Badminton Championship 2013-14 , organised from 28th February to 2nd March, 2014 at Bhopal. The three day tourney organised by Madhya Pradesh Badminton Association at BHEL Sports Club witnessed participation by as many as 650 players, inclusive of the categories +35 , +45 and +55. The winners emerged from a strong competition amongst 28 states.
Bringing home glory, Sri BVSK Lingeswara Rao, Foreman, AC Maintenance, Town Administration won the Runners up trophy in Singles event (+45 category) . Forging a strong partnership with Sri AV Raju in the doubles (+45 Category), the duo won the Winner’s title .
Sri KP Naik Naidu and Sri AVS Murthy were runners up in the same event. KP Naik Naidu , Manager, Stores also emerged second runners up in the singles (+45 category).
Sri P Madhusudan, CMD, RINL congratulated the winners for proving their mettle. He further urged the employees and their family members to make full use of several sports facilities being extended by VSP.
