Telugu Titans to take on U Mumba in the first match
The high-powered action and the glitz of the Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League is back with more entertainment to the spectators.
The third season will commence at the Port Indoor Stadium amidst the usual colour and pomp and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate the event at 7.30 p.m. on Saturday.
Then follows Amir Khan, the Bollywood actor who stirred up a controversy with his “intolerance” remark a couple of months ago, singing the national anthem. V-Company, a group of 30 talented dancers who recently won a dance reality show, Dance Plus, would thrill the audience.
Then starts the inaugural match between last year’s winner U Mumba and host Telugu Titans, followed by the match between Debang Delhi and Bengaluru Bulls.
Film star and brand ambassador of Telugu Titans Daggubati Rana, who gained nation-wide attention with ‘Bahubali’, and Hindi film actor Aditi Rao Hydari will do the duty during the next three days.
The PKL is expected to draw good crowds like in the past in spite of a major international event, the International Fleet Review being held in the city.
