We are glad to inform that the following Boxers of East Coast Railway Zonal Team won 2 Gold medals ; 1 Silver & 2 Bronze medals in the Women section & 2 Silver & 1 Bronze medal in the Men Section in the 68th Men and 7th Women All India Railway Boxing Championship-2014 held from 05.03.2014 to 08.03.2014 at AGRA. All the Boxing players of East Coast Railway, who have participated in the Championship are from Waltair Division in which all 16 Zonal Railway Teams of Indian Railways have participated in the Championship.

1. Swapna Priya - Gold Medal

2. Monica Saun - Gold Medal

3. Punyavathi - Silver Medal

MEN BOXERS :

1. Ch. Adinarayana - Silver Medal

2. Sundu Rao - Silver Medal

3. M. Venkatesh - Bronze Medal

On this occasion Shri Anil Kumar, President/ECoRSA/WAT & DRM/WAT congratulated the East Coast Railway Zonal Boxing Team for the fantastic performance in the Championship and declared Rs. 25,000/- Cash Award to the Team & wished for success in future.

Parhi, Sr.DOM/WAT ; Shri Vineet Singhal, Sr.DME/WAT & Shri C.V.Naik, Asst.Sports Officer/ECoRSA/WAT & DEN(W)/WAT have congratulated the Team and wished for success in future Tournaments also.
