Santhi Team Lifts Sri Sathya Sai Unity Cricket Cup

At a friendly cricket match organised by city seva samithi of sri sathya sai seva organiustaions, vizag district at A.S.Raja grounds, MVP colony on Sunday, Santhi team consisting of Sri Sathya Sai Gajuwaka youth lifted the” SRI SATHYA SAI UNITY CUP” defeating Sathya team consisting of Dena Janodharana Boys (adopted children of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation).

In all, 6 teams participated in the friendly cricket match which was conducted in fostering friendship, unity and Love amongst youth.
All the teams played with the right sportsmanship as inspired by Bhagvan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Vaaru.
The tournament was inaugurated by Sri PRSN Naidu, Convener, City Seva Samithi amidst bhajans and vedic chanting by Sri Sathya Sai Youth from kurmannapalem, gazuwaka, simhachalam, city samithi, DJP boys, Unity team consisting of elders of city seva samithi.
In the finals, Santhi team scored 69 runs from 10 overs and Sathya team was allout for 33 runs. Rupesh was the top scorer for santhi team scoring 21 runs. For Santhi team Dora Babu bagged 4 wickets and Rupesh bagged 3 wickets.
At a simple function held at Sri Sathya Sai Prema Sadan Mandir in the evening, Sri PRSN Naidu presented Unity Cup to Santhi team. Sri D.Raghava rao, district service wing coordinator presented runners cup to Sathya team.
Sri Venu and Sri Sai Giridhar were umpires. All the players were also presented books on “ leadership”. Former youth coordinator Sri Vadali Ramesh Kumar presented a book to Sri Sunkara Ramesh, district youth coordinator.
