While experimenting with the compositions of the Carnatic Musical Trinity or Annammayya or Ramadasa, the artistes should try and convey the ‘spiritual’ mood that they were written, Carnatic violin exponent L. Subramaniam has said.
All the compositions of the great Carnatic composers were direct conversations with the Lord and their experiences with Him, the violin maestro said adding that whatever modifications now being practised depend on each individual’s own Manodharma.
