As part of the week-long celebrations organised by the Department of Language and Cultural Affairs to mark the World Theatre Day, cultural programmes were presented at VUDA Park on Sunday.
Divisional manager of Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation Babuji said that the State government was gearing up for a big leap in promoting performing arts and taking concrete measures to convert the port city into a tourism hub.
Dance performances
The programme concluded with impressive dance performances put up by the students of Natyaravali Music and Dance Academy. The show was attended by actor Purnima, theatre artistes Badamgir Sai and Chalasani Krishna Prasad along with others.
