The I-Town police on 29-10-2018 (Monday) arrested V. Mohan Rao who allegedly stabbed his wife to death in Panda Street area on 27-10-2018 (Saturday). The accused reportedly fled the spot after committing the crime.
According to police, Mohan Rao, during the interrogation, had confessed to have committed the murder. The accused told the police that he had killed his wife, suspecting that she had an extramarital affair.
V. Nagamani (30) was found lying dead in a pool of blood after she was allegedly stabbed by her husband Mohan Rao when she was returning from her workplace on Saturday night. According to I-Town police, she was working at a food joint in Siripuram area. Nagamani, was living with her two children at Prasad Gardens in I-Town area.
The police said that Mohan Rao married Nagamani around a decade ago and the couple was blessed with two children.
