The Three Town Police (Crime) have arrested two “dossier criminals,” who are allegedly involved in seven house-breaking incidents.
The accused have been identified as Gorle Pydiraju (23) of Vizianagaram and Neduru Veerraju of Madhurawada. According to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) S. Varada Raju, the police have recovered 126 gm of gold ornaments, 3.9 kg of silver articles, cash of Rs. 1 lakh, and two motorcycles of different makes from the accused.
Pydiraju has a DC sheet in the II Town Police Station in Vizianagaram and Veerraju has one in the IV Town Police Station in Visakhapatnam.
Both had served jail term and befriend in the Central Jail, Mr. Varada Raju said.
The duo, after their release in August, had committed the crime under Three Town, Kancharapalem, PM Palem, and Anandapuram police station limits.
The accused were arrested by a team from the III Town Police Station near Kurupam Towers on Wednesday.
