The Gajuwaka Police arrested three juveniles in conflict with law for six motorbike lifting cases and four housebreaking incidents under Gajuwaka and Kancharapalem police station limits on Friday.
According to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) S. Varada Raju, the juveniles were involved in four motorbike thefts in Gajuwaka and two in Kancharapalem, and two housebreaking cases in Kancharapalem and two under Fourth Town limits. According to Gajuwaka police Station crime inspector, Koteswara Rao, they recovered six motorcycles, two laptops, one Blackberry cellphone, Rs. 3,500 in cash and one DVD. The accused have been sent to Juvenile Justice Board. In another case, Arilova police arrested B. Suresh, S. Lakshman Rao and U. Ashok for robbing people on the roads.
According to Arilova police station Inspector Ch. Dharmana Naidu, the trio targeted people who came out of bars in inebriated condition. “They would abduct such gullible persons and take them in an autorickshaw to an isolated spot and rob them of their belongings, including their clothes,” said Mr. S. Varada Raju.
