Vizag crime police arrested one person and recovered the lorry within 48 hours. The accused has been identified as K Anil Kumar from Kottapalli in Krishna district.
Deputy commissioner of police (crime) V. Suresh Babu said one J. Anjibabu of Vijayawada lodged a complaint that his truck was stolen on October 17. He told the police that when he was at the transport agents place in Vijayawada, three people came to him and wanted to book poultry feed load for Anandapuram Visakhapatnam.
Based on Anjibabu’s complaint, crime wing cops scanned CCTV footage and found the accused in Tagarapuvalasa in Visakhapatnam along with the lorry.
