Police clueless about traders murder:

It has been over 10 days since a businessman was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a farmhouse at Bheemunipatnam, and the police are still clueless about the incident.

Gorle Mutyalanaidu (42), a resident of Lalithanagar and owner of SKML Hardware Paints and Electrical in Akkayyapalem, was found dead by the watchman of the farmhouse on the morning of July 5.

According to the police, the post-mortem report indicated that there were no external or internal injuries on the body of the deceased.

But, what is perplexing is that blood was oozing out of the nose and mouth of the deceased, said Bheemunipatnam SHO Appala Naidu.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (Madhurawada Sub- Division) Rangaraju said, “If the death was natural, why would the persons who accompanied him for the late night party run away without taking care of him? And, if it was a murder, then the signs of struggle at the scene of crime or injuries on the body were missing. This aspect is baffling us.”

After leaving the shop at around 7.30 p.m. on July 4, the victim reportedly proceeded to the farmhouse belonging to his relative for a party.

On the way, he reportedly picked up a few persons in his car. We are trying to ascertain who they were. This should be a vital lead and we are working on it, the SHO said.

Mr. Rangaraju told The Hindu that the police were examining the case from all probable angles.

“The viscera also have been sent for examination. But so far, we have not been able to zero in on the culprits,” said the ACP.
