New Port police station arrested three members of a gang from Rajasthan who were allegedly involved in three house breaking offences in Pedagantyada area, Gajuwaka, on Tuesday night.
The accused were identified as Paras Singh (30), Prakash Giri (35) and Purohit Ramesh.
All are resident of Komta village of Rajasthan.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Ramgopal Naik, all the offences were committed in November, last year, when the residents were not present in the houses.
A special team led by ACP (South) G.B.R.Madhusudhana Rao and CI G. Srinivasu, investigated the case and apprehended the accused. The police recovered a major part of the stolen items.
