Homemaker ends life:

Worried over a divorce notice and being mentally depressed for sometime, a 35-year old homemaker allegedly committed suicide by jumping from a five-storey building in Sujatha Nagar under Pendurthi Police Station limits here on Monday. The deceased woman was identified as A. Gangotri. According to Inspector of Pendurthi Police Station, J. Murali, the deceased was married to a businessman about a decade back and got separated from him due to differences around three years ago.
Since then, she along with her eight-year old son had been living with her brother Anand in Sri Balaji Apartments at Sujathanagar.
From that time she was under depression and was being treated by a psychiatrist. About 10 days ago, she received the divorce notices from her husband who is now in the USA.
On Monday, at 6.15 am, she was found lying in the ground floor in a pool of blood by the residents of the apartment.
The locals in the area suspect that it could have been an accident, but the police feel that she might have committed suicide due to the depression, which was compounded by the divorce notice.

The police registered a case of suspicious death under Section 174 of Cr Pc and investigation is on.
