Robbers struck at six houses under Bheemili police station limits in the wee hours of Friday and decamped with 14 tolas of gold and Rs.60,000 in cash. According to Bheemili Police Station SHO Appalanaidu, the robbers struck at the houses of S. Venkat Rao and S. Nagamani at Thadithoru village and at the houses of E. Sreenu, E. Paradesi, M. Narayan Rao and Ramana in T Nagar Palem. The robbers forced open the doors, as most of the residents were sleeping on the terrace.
