Unidentified persons made good with Rs. 3 lakh kept in the utility cover on the fuel tank of a parked motorcycle in front a shop at Sabbavaram in Visakhapatnam district on Monday.
According to reports, G.Y. Naidu of Gullepalle village under Sabbavaram mandal had withdrawn the amount from his account in State Bank of India, Sabbavaram branch.
He put the money in the utility cover and later parked his vehicle in front of a shop to buy a water sachet.
On his return, Mr. Naidu found that the cash missing.
Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case and investigation is on.
