ACB raid:

1 kg gold found in locker of RTA official
Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths continued their raid for the second day at the residence of Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI) of Road Transport Authority (RTA) Sampathi Rao Ramesh, in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday. On Tuesday, the ACB officials seized documents and property worth Rs. 3 crore and it has gone up to Rs. 3.26 crore on Wednesday.
According to DSP of ACB’s Central Investigating Unit (CIU), Hyderabad, Ramadevi, a locker was opened on Wednesday and about one kg of gold ornaments were recovered. According to the DSP, the market value of the property recovered now crosses Rs. 25.25 crore.

The accused was arrested and sent to remand by ACB Special Court on Wednesday for amassing wealth disproportionate to the known sources of income.
