NTPC-Pudimadaka Super Thermal Power Project Group General Manager P.S. Radhakrishnan has presented demand drafts for Rs.1.14 crore to the district administration to undertake various community development works.
The drafts were presented to District Collector N. Yuvaraj. Mr. Radhakrishnan said that the funds would be used for various projects under CSR.
The works envisaged include construction of overhead pipelines, drains and roads in Iruvada Village of Atchutapuram mandal at a cost of Rs.1.07 crore, repairs to Primary Health Centre of Atchutapuram with Rs.5 lakh and repairs to Government Regional Eye Hospital with Rs.2.10 lakh.
DRDA Project Director Sai Srinivas, NTPC AGM (HR) K.S. Sarma and others were present.
NTPC officials later gave a DD for Rs.5 lakh to district SP Koya Praveen and handed over a DD for Rs.5 lakh for providing of RO water plant with shed at Nunaparthi village in Atchutapuram mandal.
