Confederation of Indian Industry organised HR Summit focussing on theme Future of Sustainability- HR 4.0 on 27-9-2019 (Friday). Addressing the Inaugural Session of the Summit, Ms B Udaylaxmi, IAS, Principal Secretary, Department of Labour, Employment, Training, Factories, Government of Andhra Pradesh said that transformation is the order of the day and HR has to keep up with the changes by redesigning the workforce with the right kind of talent. She emphasised on the need for Industry academia collaboration for addressing present challenges.
Mr RVS Rudraraju, Immediate Past Chairman, CII Andhra Pradesh and Director, RHI Clasil Pvt Ltd pointed out that people are the brand ambassadors of the firms and are the toughest asset to maintain. He suggested that firms need to work hard to motivate the Human Resources.
Ms Uma Rao, Vice President – HR, Ashok Leyland Ltd & Member Board of Directors, Gulf Ashley Motors Ltd in her address pointed out that emergence of economy which puts organisation in a state of “permanent flexibility” makes customisation an ability to customise important for organisation.
Ms Lakshmi Mukkavilli, Chairwomen, IWN, Andhra Pradesh & Co-Convenor, HR Panel CII Andhra Pradesh and Managing Director, Patra India BPO Services in her concluding remarks on the HR needs to look out for Niche skill valuing the employers and being ready for technology disruption.
Mr KVV Raju, Chairman, CII Visakhapatnam Zone and Chief Executive Officer, Granules Omnichem Pvt Ltd delivered the Welcome address at the Summit.
