Shri Chetan Kumar Shrivastava assumed the charge of Divisional Railway Manager, Waltair Division today (24.04.2019). Shri Mukul Saran Mathur transferred to Northern Railways. He belongs to Indian Railway Service Electrical Engineering (IRSEE) of 1987 batch. Prior to his assignment as Divisional Railway Manager, he was Chief Electrical Engineer, Construction, South Eastern Railway. He worked in various capacities over the Indian Railways and as Group General Manager, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited. He also served in TCS prior to joining in Indian Railways. He did graduate in Engineering from GEC, Jabalpur and was Gold Medalist. He completed in his Masters in Industrial Management (M.Tech) from I.I.T., Kanpur. He also did Masters in Public Administration from National University of Singapore (NUS). He finished Advanced Diploma in Financial Management in 2009 from A.I.M.A, New Delhi. He attended management training programme of Indian Railways Officers at Singapore and Malasia in 2009. He had training programme of Metro Railway Tunneling and Safety of systems in Spain and Denmark in the year 2014.Speaking to the media he said that Waltair Division is prime division among the Indian Railways and do his best to keep the flag high. He also mentioned that 26 DRMs have been appointed along with him in various divisions.
