Airport Advisory Committee member O. Naresh Kumar welcomed the appointment of Ashok Gajapathi Raju as Union Minister for Civil Aviation in the Modi Cabinet. He hoped that Mr. Ashok Gajapathi Raju, who belongs to the royal family of Vizianagaram, would contribute to developing Vizag International Airport on par with the top international airports in the country.
Mr. Naresh Kumar, who is also vice-president of Vizag Development Council, expressed cooperation on behalf of the Airport Advisory Committee to the new Civil Aviation Minister.
In a separate statement, Air Traveller’s Association president D. Varada Reddy also welcomed the appointment of Mr. Ashok Gajapathi Raju.
