The inter-departmental sports and games meet of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant concluded with the prize distribution function at Col. C.K. Nayudu Ukku Stadium.
The Sports Department of VSP organised competitions for employees in athletics, ball badminton, chess, cricket, kabaddi, badminton and volleyball and a throwball event separately for housewives of Ukkunagaram, AGM (sports) M.S. Kumar said. Director (personnel) of VSP G.B.S. Prasad was chief guest of the prize distribution function. He also felicitated children of VSP employees who had won 28 medals in the national roller-skating championships held recently.
General Manager (HR) and chairman of VSP Sports Committee T. Sunder, president of SEA Y.K. Garg, DGM (HR) and Coordinator of WIPS P. Padmavathi, Deputy Manager and secretary of WIPS C. Sheba Rani, and others participated.
