The city will be hosting a two-day table tennis tournament at Swarna Bharati Indoor stadium on October 12 and 13 from 9 am to 4:30 pm, which is being jointly conducted by Rotary Club of Visakha Valley and the Andhra Pradesh Table Tennis Association (APTTA).
A total of 15-member Japanese Table Tennis Team from L-Angel International Volunteers Association headed by Fumio Nagaura will attend the tournament as judges and selectors.
The tournament will be open in three categories namely cadet, juniors and sub-juniors. Players from 16 districts of AP will participate in the tournament. The winners will get the opportunity to visit Japan for 7 days and to play table tennis with Olympic players.
