Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited (APEPDCL) team won first place in Inter-Circle Chess Tournament 2019-20 of AP Electricity Corporations held on Wednesday (22-05-2019). The Chess Tournament was conducted for the last three days at Gajuwaka was concluded on Wednesday. Over 13 teams from AP-TRANSCO, APGENCO, APSPDCL and APEPDCL competed for the tournament APEPDCL team with the members of S Nageswara Rao, EE (Solar power), P R K Manohar, EE (Training), V D V Ramakrishna Rao, DEE (AP-DRP), S Vijay Kumar, AE (APDRP), J Angada Rao, AAO (Revenue) won the first place. Teams of Dr NTTPS, Vijayawada and Operation Circle, Vijayawada stood in the second and third places respectively. In the open singles, S Nageswara Rao, EE (Solar Energy), Visakhapatnam stoodin first place. Bharat Kumar, DEE, (Podili), S Vijaya Kumar, AE, Visakhapatnam, V Deepak, AEE (Ongole) bagged second, third and fourth places respectively.
