Kids carnival enthrals:

Inspired by creations of Arvind Gupta, those studying from Classes L.K.G. to V of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan came up with innovative ideas of designing toys from trash at the ‘Kids Day 2015’ celebrations held at Port Kalavani auditorium on Friday.
A set of 200 disposable cups attached to a blue light act as a mosquito repellent, paper butterflies made in bright hues, bottle cup spiders made of plastic bottles, cup propellers and toys in varied forms form a part of the art and craft exhibition put up at the venue.
What formed the interesting part of the programme was that each craft highlighted the concept of creating treasure from trash.
As the evening progressed, students regaled the audience with a host of impressive cultural performances.
Chef dance, kalakshetra, a classical dance, and ‘Sita Rama Kalyanam’, a skit, were some of the highlights of the event that attracted greater participation of parents.
Director of Eco-Science Research Foundation Sultan Ahmed Ismail, CMD of Vijay Nirman Company S. Vijaya Kumar, and artist Aravindan Arumugam attended the event as special guests.
Director of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan Ch. Vasu Prakash and the school staff attended.
