The Arilova police arrested two persons on the charge of land-grabbing here on Tuesday.
The arrested were identified as J. Ramesh and G. Satish, both friends from the old Dairy Farm area.
The third accused, P. Rama Rao, of the Arilova area is at large.
According to inspector Ch. Dhanunjaya Naidu, the accused were in the habit of grabbing disputed or vacant land and selling them to other parties. In one such case, they grabbed a disputed land in the PM Palem area, constructed a boundary wall, and also created fake documents.
They later sold it N. Bhaskara Rao for Rs. 10 lakh. They also sold a disputed land in Mithilapuri VUDA Layout and one near Ramanaidu Studios.
Another at large
Basing on a complaint filed by Hensi Kumar, the police nabbed the two and launched a manhunt for the third.
