The promoter of a private school was taken into custody by the Three Town MVP Zone police on Tuesday night, following a complaint filed by the parents, teachers and owner of the building in which the school is housed.
According to the SHO of the police station Vidyasagar, the school named KIPES School was started by A. Venkateswara Rao during this academic year, near Dr. V.S. Krishna Government College. As per the complaint filed, he had not paid rent to the owner of the building for a couple of months and salaries to employees. Apprehending that he might close the school and abscond, they filed a complaint, said Mr. Vidyasagar.
The promoter was taken into custody.
