Murder accused Ramnath Singh (38), who had been on the run since April this year, was nabbed by the police on Thursday and sent to judicial remand.
The accused had allegedly beaten his brother-in-law Sailesh Singh (35) to death on April 21, and had been absconding since then.
The deceased owned a Dhaba at Pothireddipalem Junction, under Yellamanchili rural police station limits, and Ramnath was working there.
On the fateful night, Sailesh reprimanded Ramnath for misappropriation of cash to the tune of Rs. 300.
In a fit of rage, the accused hit the deceased on the head with an iron rod and Sailesh succumbed to the bleeding injury while undergoing treatment at King George Hospital.
Special team
A special team from the Yellamanchili Police Station had gone to Bihar and arrested Ramnath from Gaya district, said Yellamanchili Circle Inspector K. Venkat Rao.
