A man was stabbed to death, allegedly by his cousin over some land dispute at Baliaguda village under Araku valley police station limits in the Visakhapatnam Agency area, late on Sunday night.
The deceased has been identified as 50-year-old S. Raju, a farmer, while the accused is said to be S. Raghunath, also a farmer and a cousin of the victim.
Police said that the victim had a farm land dispute with his cousin Raghunath, and Raju had picked up many arguments with the accused.
On Sunday night, Raghunath had gone to Raju’s house and he dragged Raju out of the home and stabbed him to death with a knife.
Following an information, Sub-Inspector G. Narayana Rao of Araku police station visited the crime scene on Monday and arrested the accused.
The cops shifted the body to government hospital for post mortem.
