Man gets life term for murder:

Principal District Judge P. V. Jyothirmayi on Wednesday sentenced a 42-year-old man K. Seetharamayya to undergo life imprisonment for murdering his neighbour K. Lakshman (68) at Gadugupalli village under Hukumpeta mandal in Visakhapatnam Agency on May 12, 2010.
Public Prosecutor M. Venu Gopala Rao said that Seetharamaiah and Lakshman were natives of Gadugupalli and were neighbours. Both were beneficiaries of Indiramma Housing Scheme.
After the house was allotted to them, Seetharamayya built a fence. Over this issue both had arguments a number of times.
Because of the issue, Seetharamayya developed a grudge against Lakshman and on May 12, 2010, when Lakshman was walking back home, he hacked Lakshman to death with a sharp weapon.
Venu Gopal Rao observed that the attack was so severe that Lakshman’s head was severed from his body.
Later Seetharamayya had tried to prove that he was suffering from paranoid schizophrenia, which was proved to be a false claim by the public prosecutor and three medical experts.

Basing on the gravity and brutality of the crime, Ms. Jyothirmayi gave the verdict.
