Hackers arrested:

Cyber Crime police arrested two members of a four-member gang for hacking into the bank accounts of a businessman and siphoning off to the tune of Rs. 85 lakh. The two arrested were identified as Nayeem Abdul Karim Khully and Ajit Gopala Krishna Prabhu, both residents of Thane. They were arrested and brought in transit warrant to Visakhapatnam on Friday. Two others Dharmesh Kanjibhai Rathod and Afzal are still at large.
According to Cyber Crime Cell inspector K. Satyanarayana Rao, they hacked into the bank current accounts of Guntur Venkata Durga Mallikarjuna Rao, Director of Sprint Exports, through proxy servers and moved Rs. 73 lakh from one account and Rs. 13 lakh from another account, to five different accounts, on October 20 and 21, last year.
According to the inspector, the hackers hacked into the user id and password and also obtained a duplicate SIM card of the complainant to get hold of the OTP.

Based on a complaint filed by Mr. Mallikarjuna Rao, the cyber crime cell officers arrested the duo. The hunt is on for the other two, said the Inspector.
