Couple arrested in murder cases:

The city police arrested a couple, who was allegedly involved in two cases of murder for gain, a robbery and theft of two motorcycles.
Modus operandi
The modus operandi of the accused was to target senior citizens living alone by seeking their house for rent and rob them of their valuables, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crimes) Ravi Kumar told the media here on Wednesday.
G. Naga Malleswara Rao of Eluru in West Godavari district, had done odd jobs at a private hospital and at a gold shop. He deserted his wife Vijaya Kumari of Vijayawada and fled to Hyderabad in 2013 along with Ramalakshmi, with whom he had developed intimacy in the past.
Earlier this year, Malleswara Rao shifted to Visakhapatnam along with Ramalakshmi. He had some practical experience in physiotherapy and joined a private hospital in the city. He worked for sometime but subsequently faced financial problems and the couple hit upon a plan to make easy money.

Central Crime Station (CCS) Inspector Eliya Sagar and his team got cracking and arrested the couple based on clues. They recovered 163 gm gold ornaments and the two stolen motorcycles from the accused.
