Bridegroom makes a vanishing act:

A bridegroom vanished from the wedding hall just three hours before the ‘muhurat’ at the Sri Satyanarayana Swamy temple at Annavaram on Thursday.
P. Ramu Naidu (27) of Ramannapalem in Atchutapuram mandal of Visakhapatnam district fell in love with a 20-year-old girl of Maturu village of the same mandal. They were employees at a firm in the Atchutapuram SEZ. Parents of Naidu and the girl agreed for the marriage and fixed the day.
Both the families arrived at the temple and the marriage was slated for 8.36 a.m. Meanwhile, Naidu collected Rs.1,000 from the mother of the bride and told her that he was going out and would return in a couple of minutes. He however did not. Sources said that Naidu left as his relatives were against the marriage as the bride belonged to another community.

The bride’s parents approached the Atchutapuram police and booked a case. Search for the groom is on.
