A man and his son were arrested by the Kancharapalem Police for their alleged role in the death of a 49 year old man.

Giving details to the media on Monday, Assistant Commissioner of Police North C. M. Naidu said that the accused K. Eswara Rao (45) and his son Srinu (22) of ASR Nagar, Burma camp, had beaten Venkata Ramana of the same area black and blue resulting in his death on Saturday night.
