Mr.B.N.Sarma, a philanthropist, and grandson of Rao Bahadur Sir B.N.Sarma, a renowned Indian Statesman, died on 27-09-2018.
His grandfather Sir B.N.Sarma was responsible for the formation of Andhra University and founder President of Andhra Mahasabha, and President of the Council of State, India when the Andhra University formation Bill came for approval. His family donated valuable land and property to Andhra University.
Mr.B.N.Sarma was born in 1938. He was also the maternal grandson of legal luminary Sir Vepa Ramesam.
Mr.B.N.Sarma survived by wife Mrs.Kameswari, two sons B.Mahadeva Sastri and B.Venkatesh and daughther K.Janaki Madhavi and siblings V.Sitalakshmi and B.Ramesam and grandchildren.
Prof. A. Prasannakumar, former Rector, Prof. G. Nageswara Rao, Vice-Chancellor, Prof.K. Niranjan, Registrar, Prof.P.Bobby Vardhan, Head of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Dr.Challa Ramakrishna, Associate Director of Media Relations, condoled the death of Sri B.N.Sarma.
