Inspector General KR Nautiyal, has been appointed as Additional Director General new Coast Guard Commander (Eastern Seaboard)

Inspector General KR Nautiyal, on promotion to the rank of Additional Director General has been appointed as new Coast Guard Commander (Eastern Seaboard). The Flag Officer relinquished the Command of Coast Guard Regional Headquarters (West), Mumbai on April 10 and will be taking over Headquarters Eastern Seaboard from Inspector General KS Sheoran on April 12.

The flag officer is from the fourth batch of Indian Coast Guard and has held several appointments afloat and ashore. He has commanded all type of Coast Guard ships and on elevation to the flag rank. While taking over Command of Headquarters Eastern Seaboard, the Flag Officer will be inspecting the Command Divisions and Guard of Honour at parade ground of Coast Guard District Headquarters No. 6, Visakhapatnam.
