Dwaram A. V. Swamy is the eldest son of renowned musician Smt. Dwaram Varadamma and renowned musician and musicologist "Gandharva Vidya Bhooshana", "Sangitha Kalaprapoorna" Prof. Dwaram Bhava Narayana Rao garu and is the grandson of the world renowned violinist, 'Padmasree' "Sangitha Kalanidhi" Dr. Dwaram Venkata Swamy Naidu garu.

No wonder the rich traditional music flowed in the genes of Dwaram Swamy, and his brothers and sisters. The surname 'DWARAM" is highly regarded by music lovers all over as a 'synonym to music' or as the 'entrance to an ocean of rich and superb musical talent".

Swamy began his musical pursuits under the blessed guidance of his parents at an early age. He gave several programmes in Classical MUSIC (Carnatic) as well as in Light Music. He had his initial teachings in the violin from his beloved father Dr. Bhava Narayana Rao garu.

He brought laurels to his school team by winning accolades at various music competitions in the solo and group singing competitions.

Swamy sang along with his sister Dr Dwaram Lakshmi who is a very senior and popular artiste for the National Integration special feature in Doordarshan and AIR.

After obtaining a Bachelors degree in "Civil Engineering" from GITAM, Swamy's natural flair for communication skills made him obtain his additional degree in "Public Relations" as well.

Swamy joined Visakhapatnam Steel Plant as Junior Divisional Engineer in the year 1990 and has been working with the Corporate Communications department (Public Relations) since 1995. Swamy is presently working as Manager (Corporate Communications). Swamy sings light music at informal get togethers.

Swamy has been awarded the 'JAWAHAR NEHRU AWARD" by Visakhapatnam Steel Plant for his outstanding performance and is presently the Secretary of the Visakhapatnam Chapter of Public Relations Society Of India (PRSI). He is also into acting on the stage and comperes cultural shows.

Though music is not his main stream now, Swamy would like to start his second innings in music along with his professional career. A staunch cricket lover, Swamy has even played cricket at the district leagues.

Swamy is happily married to Mrs. Manisree who is working as a teacher in Sri Satya Sai Vidya Vihar and is blessed with a daughter Chy. Dwaram Sreemeher Bhavana and a son Chy. Dwaram Sree Sai Easwar.
